    The Bounty: A Novel Men Against the Sea is the second book in The Bounty Trilogy, based on the month of the Bounty mutineers on Pitcairn Island: Men Against the Sea follows A Novel, which offers a first-hand account of the actual mutineers who never left the Norfolk. This is based on real events, told from the point of view of Roger Byam, a fictional character inspired by midshipman Peter Heywood on the Bounty. Perfectly retelling the mutiny, and its consequence, the audiobook is both engaging and informative.

Fletcher Christian, a charismatic and secure character as well as one who lacks nothing in his love of freedom and self-independence, is the mutineers’ leader. The audiobook is great; every speaker is real and has a nuance to them, and it’s almost like a life to these characters.
